So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

Sports Team singer Alex Rice calls “Condensation” a “big, sweat-slicked, saucer-eyed song,” while bandmate Rob Knaggs says, “If Adam Sandler remade ‘Nymphomaniac,’ this song would play over the credits. We recorded versions with brass bands, and Jools Holland, but it never quite felt right. All came together very quickly in Bergen. MILITARY GENIUS (CRACK CLOUD’S BRYCE CLOGHESY) – “WINDOW TO THE SOUL”
Military Genius, aka Crack Cloud member Bryce Cloghesy, will release new album Scarred for Life on November 1 and here’s a new single from it. “‘Window to the Soul’ reflects on trauma and its after-effects, exploring how the past can distort and reshape the present,” Bryce says. “Attempting to explain what has happened takes us further away from understanding. Like looking through curved glass, each perspective reshapes and challenges our notion of objective truth. This life is a house of mirrors, and sometimes getting lost is the point. In that moment of desperation, logic is irrelevant. All that is left is feeling.”
