3 Livingston Parish men accused of using social media to exploit minors

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) – Three people are facing charges after deputies say they were using social media to exploit minors.

The following are the three suspects and their charges:

Arrests

Matthew Wagner, 40, of Albany,

>1 Count – LRS 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

>1 Count – LRS 14:81.3 Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor

>1 count – LRS 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

>1 count – LRS 14:81.3 Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor

>1 count – LRS 40:966C- Possession of Sch I CDS (MDMA)

>1 count – LRS 14:95E Firearm in the Presence of CDS

>1 count – LRS 40:9662(A)- Possession of Marijuana (under 14 grams)

Wilson Mesa-Gomez 02/24/1995 of Denham Springs, LA

**Wilson currently has an ICE Hold**

>1 count – LRS 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

>1 count – LRS 14:81.3 Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor

Detectives with the LPSO, along with the assistance of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations, were able to begin investigations into the suspects on multiple social media platforms about the exploitation of a minor.

Sheriff Jason Ard says, “During these investigations, the three individuals were identified and all 3 were successfully taken into custody.”
