Duluth Studio Market Under New Ownership With New Visions

DULUTH, Minn. — Since 2020, Duluth Studio Market has been selling local artwork and crafts. Now the gallery is excited to expand their network under new ownership.

Amber Nichols has been apart of the Duluth art-scene for years as the general manager for Lake Superior Art Glass, but now has started a new project as the owner of Duluth Studio Market.

The studio space will still sell local artist’ hand-made artwork. But Nichols said future plans are to incorporate classes for people interested in learning a new craft.

“I think just being able to engage with them and showcase what Duluth has to offer and also broaden that out to a national or worldwide view,” said Nichols. “There’s a lot of amazing artists in the world and if I can showcase even a small portion of that and educate people on things, then I think that’s amazing.”

The Duluth Studio Market will be hosting a grand “re-opening” on April 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p-m. The business is located on 45th Avenue East in east Duluth.
