Simulated social network Synthetiq tests posts before they’re published

An intriguing new startup called Synthetiq is promising to help people test their social-media posts before they actually publish them.

Its CEO Logan Audie described how it works in a post on Product Hunt.

“It’s a synthetic social network that realistically simulates how real humans react to your posts—predicting performance with 55–70% accuracy,” he claimed. “That’s 3x more reliable than any other predictive method out there.”

The service has launched with a tryout offer of 10 free simulations or five A/B tests. It can be used to test posts aimed at LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) for audience sizes including up to 1,000, up to 10,000, up to 100,000 or over 100,000.

A Synthetiq Pro premium tier is described as ‘coming soon’ on the site, although no pricing details are yet available.

While artists might balk at the idea of testing their personal posts in a simulated social network before publishing them for real, Synthetiq may have more appeal to the teams within labels, management firms and agencies who are running marketing campaigns – if the pricing and return on investment is right, of course.
