Rising pop-country star Dasha has been officially announced as Amazon Music’s newest Breakthrough artist. The news was revealed at Variety’s Power of Women: Nashville event last week, marking a major career milestone for the singer who has quickly become one of the genre’s most talked-about new voices.
As part of the Breakthrough campaign, Amazon Music will offer Dasha extensive support across its platforms. This includes custom video and audio content, global marketing initiatives, premium placement on playlists and stations, and additional visibility throughout Amazon’s broader ecosystem. The program aims to amplify emerging artists during pivotal moments in their careers.
To kick off the partnership, Dasha released an Amazon Music Original cover of Gretchen Wilson’s rowdy hit ‘Here for the Party’ ahead of her debut on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach this past weekend. The energetic rendition stays true to the original’s bold tone while infusing Dasha’s playful and modern flair.

She’s a true presence in country, unafraid to be herself, ruffle some feathers, and make some of the most undeniable music at the intersection of pop and country in recent memory,” said Michelle Tigard Kammerer, head of country music at Amazon Music. “We look forward to helping make her creative vision a reality.”
Dasha shared her excitement about joining the Breakthrough program, saying, “I feel incredibly honored to be selected. In addition to her Breakthrough designation, Dasha is nominated for New Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards. She joins the ranks of past Amazon Music Breakthrough artists such as Nate Smith, Bailey Zimmerman, and BRELAND.
