Brady St. Blends opens in downtown Davenport

Brady St. Blends held their grand opening on Saturday, May 3. The new business is at located 421 Brady St. in Davenport, shown here on Tuesday, May 6. 




Brady St. Blends is the newest Quad-Cities spot, having officially opened on Saturday, May 3, with a grand opening. The shop, owned by Karlee Cleary, is located at 423 Brady St. in downtown Davenport. 

Brady St. Blends has a variety of clean energy drinks, greens, lit tea, protein coffee and shakes and protein baked goods, along with kid friendly and vegan options. They also offer gift cards.

The shop is open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Their phone number is 563-307-0804. Text delivery to be a part of their free delivery service at 319-408-8189. They also have Facebook and Instagram pages.

Skinderella’s Wonderland Art Collective is holding a grand opening on May 17.




Skinderella’s Wonderland Art Collective will have an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, gallery tour, giveaways, exclusive class enrollment offers and opportunities to meet the visionary artist behind it all. They are holding their grand opening in downtown LeClaire on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. located at 110 S. Cody Road in LeClaire. 

The gallery space features vibrant and colorful murals, striking canvas art, a remarkable purse collection and art curriculum for people of all ages and skill levels.

No More Butts Vapor Lounge held a grand opening on their second location on May 3. The new vapor lounge is located inside the Twin Oaks Shopping Center at 2001 5th St., Suite 7, in Silvis. The owners are Midge Haller and David Byrkett.

No More Butts Vapor Lounge is a 21+ establishment and offers a wide range of products.

“We’re proud to say we’ve been serving the Muscatine community for over 11 years, and during that time, we’ve passed at least one compliance check annually. We’re very aware of the scrutiny our industry faces in regard to youth vaping, and we’ve taken responsible steps from day one to maintain a safe, legal, and welcoming space for adult vapers,” Byrkett said.

The new vape shop serves cold beverages to enjoy in-lounge.

Moline Library Gardens opening and ribbon cutting

Moline Library Gardens will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 14, with gates opening at 3:45 p.m. following with ceremony at 4 p.m. 

Moline Library Gardens, located on the south side of Moline Public Library Building, 3210 41st St., and accessible from within the library or through gates along 41st St. and southeast parking lot.  

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place inside the library.

The garden’s features include a multi-use pavilion and stage, flexible event lawn, interactive story loop, butterfly garden and sculptures from local artists. The expanded outdoor space will be the site of library programs, as well as provide multiple areas for gathering, reading and enjoying the outdoors.

Empower House ribbon cutting

Empower House will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate their fifth anniversary and their new location on Thursday, May 15, at 1:30 p.m. They are located at 2720 W. Locust Street, 9B in Davenport.

They are proud to be celebrating with a move to a larger, more accessible location where they can continue to be the hub of brain injury resources in the QCA.
