PEORIA (25News Now) – Local artists showcased their talents Sunday at Peoria Makers Art Market, at the Friendly Valley Tavern on North Meadowbrook Road.
Almost two dozen vendors showcased different types of art, including woodworking, jewelry, paintings, and clothing.
This is the second-year local artists have shown off their work. The head organizer of the Peoria Makers Art Market, Jamie Lee, said it’s a great way to showcase talent in Greater Peoria.
“If you like community or meeting people you haven’t met, this is the place to start. We have it all, and that’s why we want to see everybody,” he said.
The Peoria Makers Art market will be every third Sunday from May through September. Lee added, if the weather is still nice in the fall, it will run until Oct.
