Free business conference for artists set for July 14 in Sault Ste. Marie

The Sault Area Art Center (SAAC) is organizing a free one-day business conference for artists starting at noon on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Lake Superior State University’s Kenneth J. Shouldice Library.

The Business of Being an Artist Conference will offer visual artists, performers, and writers the opportunity to learn from working artists and business professionals as they share real-life experiences, valuable tips, and practical advice on building successful and creative careers. From branding to business structure, from staying inspired to filing taxes, this event will help participants take their artistic practices from hobby to career.

Details:

  • When: July 14, 12 to 5 p.m. (Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m.)
