Canadian teacher ‘put pupils’ creepy portraits on sale online’

A Canadian father said he is “disgusted” after alleging that his children’s art teacher took their drawings from the classroom and sold them online.

An investigation is under way over claims that a teacher at Westwood Junior High School in Saint-Lazare, an off-island suburb of Montreal, has been profiting from students’ work.

Michael Bennett told CTV News his two daughters came home last week and said a classmate had stumbled upon Mario Perron’s website after googling his name.

Bennett said a drawing from his 12-year-old daughter was listed for sale. According to CTV News, the artwork was listed for C$151 (£88.33) on at least four different websites.
