Summer House Furnishings and art gallery in Rye is celebrating its 25th anniversary by hosting upcoming events and promotions.
On Thursday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the company will hold special sales and giveaways, and visitors can enter a drawing to win an original Teresa McCue painting.
“The calming palette and beautifully arranged furnishings provide the ideal serene setting for my ocean-inspired paintings. I appreciate the opportunity and value the longstanding relationship,” says McCue in a press release.
During “Art With Heart” on Thursday, May 2, visitors can meet some of the artists who have displayed their work at Summer House. Ten percent of sales that night will be donated to Gather, a nonprofit with the goal of ending hunger in the Seacoast area. The event is from 5-7 p.m.
Summer House is a locally-owned design furnishings business founded by Stephanie Saltonstall in 1999. Antiques collector Andrea Checovich partnered with Saltonstall 10 years later.
The company offers design services, a furniture showroom and an art gallery that features regional artists.
“Our reputation for customer service is what sets us apart, in addition to the quality of the furniture and art we curate. We love bringing a timeless, coastal aesthetic to all that we do!” Saltonstall says in a press release.
