BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — On Thursday evening, the Bakersfield Museum of Art celebrated their 9th annual Art After Dark event, highlighting women artists, and bringing awareness to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
The museum celebrated ‘Modern Women, Modern Vision: Photographs from the Bank of America Collection,” with inspiring work from influential women artists.
The pop-up exhibition benefitted The Open Door Network, a non-profit organization that supports victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
The 18hundred provided drinks for attendees.
