LCAD announces Student Art Market on March 30
–Student Art Market
Join LCAD for their Student Art Market on their historic Main Campus on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the LCAD Main Campus, 2222 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach.
The LCAD Student Art Market provides an opportunity to discover artwork from current Laguna College of Art + Design students across all majors.

Student Art Market – March 30
The Student Art Market is a program designed to empower aspiring artists with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully sell and merchandise their artwork. Geared towards students and emerging artists, this series covers various aspects of the art market, providing valuable insights and practical tips.
Attendees will have the opportunity to support the new era of creatives, and purchase paintings, prints, pins, jewelry, totes and more.

Savas’ illustrations seamlessly blend traditional and tech-driven approaches, commencing in the mid-1980s as an advertising and technical illustrator for the aerospace and retail sectors. His collaboration with esteemed clients, such as Mitsubishi, Seiko, Mars Candy, Quaker Oats, Beckman Instruments and Sega Games led to his art gracing prestigious venues like the Society of Illustrators in New York and Los Angeles, Spectrum and Applied Arts.
In the digital realm, his work has been featured in exhibitions and venues like Mac World, Corel Painter Expo, Morongo Casino and more. Holding a BFA from Laguna College of Art + Design and an MFA from California University Long Beach, Savas has been imparting his knowledge at LCAD since 1996, serving in various roles, and is currently the chair of Illustration. This collection eloquently showcases his multifaceted creativity, revealing a profound love for illustration’s macabre, whimsical and technical realms.
LCAD Gallery is located at 374 Ocean Ave., Laguna Beach.
