A&E District debuts Art Market

Historic Stevensville Arts & Entertainment District held its first “open air” Art Market April 6. The purpose of the Art Market is to showcase the work of local artists by providing a platform for them to sell their unique artistic creations to the community. Many artists attended the event with creative expressions ranging from jewelry to photography.

Future Art Markets will be held 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 4, June 1, July 6, Aug. 3, Sept. 7, Oct. 5, and Nov. 2, at Historic Christ Church, 121 East Main Street in Stevensville. First Saturdays Historic Site Tours, will also be held these same days, sponsored by Kent Island Heritage Society, May-November, noon to 4 p.m.
