First ever TV6 Business Expo hosted in Escanaba

ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) – Businesses of all kinds showcased their products at a brand-new event in Escanaba Saturday.

The first ever TV6 Business Expo happened at the Ruth Butler Building at the UP State Fairgrounds. Around 35 vendors participated. Businesses ranged from health and wellness companies to vendors of handmade art and food items.

“It lets the community know that we’re here,” #9 Farms Owner Dawn Gallop said. “A lot of times, people come out and they find things and they say, ‘Oh, I didn’t know you existed.’ That’s always a good feeling because then they’re really excited about it and they want to know more about your product.”

Cost for a 10-10 booth was $75 for the day. Organizers said they hope to provide an outlet for businesses in the area and benefit the local economy.
