Downtown Chambersburg is set to host its highly anticipated annual event, Old Market Day, this Saturday, July 20, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Presented by F&M Trust, this free street festival promises a full day of activities, showcasing local merchants alongside an array of art, craft, and food vendors.
This year’s Old Market Day features a diverse group of community partners including the Council for the Arts, the Franklin County Visitors Bureau, and the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, among others. Attendees can look forward to a variety of musical performances, children’s activities, and culinary delights throughout the day.
The entertainment lineup spans multiple genres and includes performances by Cumberland Valley School of Music, the Chambersburg Ballet Theatre School, and local favorites like Soleil. The festival stage will come alive with music starting at 9:45 AM and continue with different acts until 4 PM.
For food enthusiasts, the event will host over a dozen food vendors offering everything from Asian Fusion dishes by Aloha Jen’s to classic American flavors from Shuman’s Concessions. Other vendors include Brickers Famous French Fries, Uncle Moe’s Soul Food, and many more.
In addition to food and music, Old Market Day will also feature a variety of artisan and craft vendors. Attendees can explore booths offering handmade jewelry, custom leather goods, and unique home decor items, providing a perfect opportunity to support local artisans while discovering one-of-a-kind products.
Event organizers encourage visitors to plan for a full day of exploration and enjoyment in the heart of downtown Chambersburg. With activities and offerings for all ages, Old Market Day is a community event not to be missed.
