Tennessee Aquarium auctions off unique artwork made by animals

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Aquarium is calling all animal lovers and art enthusiasts to participate in their latest auction.

The non-profit is raising funds to benefit its community efforts.

An auction is now open for some one-of-a-kind art from your favorite exotic friends.

Penguins, snakes, lemurs, and more species put their artistic skills to use by crafting unique paintings.

The auction opened Thursday, Sept. 12 and will be wrapping up this Thursday, Sept. 19 at noon. Participants could win unique prizes ranging from local staycations to naming the newest penguin chick!

All proceeds will support the Aquarium’s nonprofit mission to connect people with nature and inspire them to make informed decisions about water and wildlife.
