Blu Dot Furnishing at Affordable Art Fair
Blu Dot, the award-winning Minneapolis-based design company known for its innovative modern furnishings, will be transforming the Fair’s café and lounge area. Founded in 1997, Blu Dot has become a leader in creative, accessible design, with 17 retail locations across the US, Mexico, and Australia. The Fair’s café will feature their smartly designed Apt Café tables and alluring SidebySide chairs, a Dandy 86” Sofa will anchor the lounge along with their Puff Puff benches offering attendees a place to meet, take a break, and engage. Come explore their designs, meet members of the team on opening night, and discover how they’re making great design accessible to everyone.
Lalo and The Babysitting Company at Stroller Hours
Bring your little ones and enjoy art in a family-friendly environment during Stroller Hours on Sunday, September 29, starting at 10 am. Parents can shop and explore while children enjoy activities on Lalo Play Kits and participate in mess-free arts and crafts sessions hosted by The Babysitting Company at 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm. Healthy snacks will be provided by our friends at Grillo’s Pickles. Tickets are available for this unique experience designed for both parents and kids.
Arts Gowanus at Art After Dark
Join us for Art After Dark on Friday, September 27, from 6-9 pm, a night of art, music, and cocktails.
