As it celebrates its 38th founding anniversary, the Feminine Touch, an all-women group of Negrense artists, opened a group art exhibition for a cause at the lobby of The Upper East House of Megaworld Bacolod last Thursday, which ran until September 30.

The show, titled “Filipiniana”, was also held in line with the celebration of World Tourism Week, and in collaboration with Megaworld and the Bacolod City Tourism Office.

Featured are the artworks of Dolly Gatuslao, Beth Puey, Anette Feria, Sony Golez, Chrysee Samillano, Miriam Bayles, Helen Quillo, who are founding members of Feminine Touch, and Patty Jane Ong, Pablita Nava, Chin Guanzon, Princy Martir and Jenevieve Abeto.

Dolly Gatuslao, who founded the group when she was president of the Art Association of Bacolod, gave the welcoming remarks during a program, while Board Member Rita Gatuslao, chair of the SP Committee on Women and Children, delivered the message of Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson for the artists.
