The woman turned to her friend and said in a low voice, “That is Jazzy B!” while throwing her hands up in sheer astonishment.

Dubai-based model Geena Sandhu recently came across a “Wait, is that really him?!” moment, when she came across Punjabi music superstar Jazzy B. Sandhu, shared a video on Instagram when the artist walked past her while she was in the middle of a glamorous photoshoot in Jaipur. What was more hilarious, her friend had no idea who just passed by them. Since being shared, the video has received a whopping 6.5 million views.

Sandhu summed up the encounter in her caption: “When the biggest Punjabi artist walks past, and you notice, but your bestie is clueless.” The tag went straight to Jazzy B himself.

Jaswinder Singh Bains, famous by his stage name Jazzy B, is an Indo-Canadian singer and music composer known for his massive contribution to the Punjabi music scene. The voice behind smashing hits like Glassy and Jihne Mera Dil Luteya has been a legend in Punjabi music since the 2000s. His other achievements also include providing playback singing to movies including Kesari starring Akshay Kumar and the recent recreation of his classic hit for the movie Jawaani Jaaneman.

Ever radiant in a mustard yellow outfit, Sandhu was flashing a smile alongside her equally fashionable friend, Serena Takhar. This was until Jazzy B happened to pass by her in a low-key basketball cap and shorts. Initially, she nodded in his direction, without immediately recognising who just happened to pass by her. However, when she realised, she was completely caught off guard. She turned to Serena and said in a low voice, “That is Jazzy B!” while throwing her hands up in sheer astonishment. At the same time, Serena was completely oblivious to the moment.

Users couldn’t help but have a good laugh watching Sandhu’s reaction. At the same time, the internet enjoyed the fact that her friend was utterly unaware that she was just a few feet away from being in the presence of a musical genius.

Commenting on the video, Serena wrote, “Sorry @jazzyb (sic) bhaji, the sunglasses and cap threw me off!”

A user humorously stated, “Ek baar peeche se bolna tha “jinhe mera dil lutteya” ?!!”

“Omg this is me all the time”, said a person.

Another individual said, “Girl, I would have screamed.”
