Weekend Events: Trunk Or Treat, Cherokee Art Market, Tulsa Pride Parade, And More

The weekend is here. Six In The Morning Weekend Anchor Kristen Weaver shares all the fun and exciting things happening across Green Country.

Trunk or Treat

There are several spooky events this weekend including trunk or treat at the Hardesty Regional Library.

Wear a costume and you can get all kinds of treats in vehicles of every size.

You can register online HERE.

Abracadabra & Autumn Adventures

Another one of those spooky events is the Abracadabra & Autumn Adventures Event at the Tulsa premium outlets.

There will be magic shows, music, crafts, pumpkin decorating, and more.

It’s Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Vinita Oktoberfest

The town of Vinita is hosting its 37th annual Oktoberfest at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church this weekend.

The fest will feature Native American, German, Asian, Mexican, and other foods along with dancers, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and raffles and beer.

There is also a big car show. It’s Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hominystock

Corgis will be back at Hominystock this year.

Peace, Love, and Corgis is the theme of this tail-wagging event with costume contests, corgi races, bobbing for hot dogs and so much more.

The event is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and of course, other non-corgi breeds are allowed if they behave.

Cherokee Art Market

The Cherokee Art Market is back at the Hard Rock Casino this weekend.

The best native art around town and across the country is being represented on Saturday and Sunday.

You can purchase art and other unique pieces inside the Sequoyah ballroom.

Tulsa Pride Parade

The Tulsa Pride Parade is on Sunday at 4 p.m., starting at the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and ending at the Equality Center.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out and watch the colorful parade as it makes its way downtown.
