RICE LAKE (WQOW) – A new manufacturing facility will be built in Rice Lake.
Announced Wednesday morning, Johnson Truck Bodies (JTB) will be building a state-of-the-art 220,000 square foot manufacturing plant in the North Business Park. That’s on Lindy St.
According to a joint press release from the city of Rice Lake and JTB, it will secure and expand quality job opportunities in the region. JTB currently employees 130 people.
JTB has been in Rice Lake since 1932. It builds refrigerated truck bodies and construction trailers under the brands Great Dane and Trail King.
JTB already has a plant in Rice Lake. The one on Allen Street will be demolished when the new plant is done.
