ROCKFORD, Ill (WREX) – The Rockford Area Arts Council has developed a Business of Art Forum after holding Round Table discussions with the creative community and speaking to them about the unique challenges they face.
The forum will take place on Saturday, November 9 from 8:30 A.M. until 11 A.M. at The Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE), in Rockford. The Forum will feature panelists to address specific challenges facing the creative community.
The Business of Art Forum Speakers will include:
- Michael Morthland, Mercury LLC- How to develop effective relationships with your elected officials as agencies and individuals.

The Forum will start at 8:30 A.M. with a social half-hour with coffee and pastries. The panel will start at 9 A.M. and will be followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 11 A.M.
