Meet Latino artists, business owners at networking event in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Here’s a chance to mingle with Latino artists and musicians.

The Ice House/Latino Committee, in partnership with the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley, will host a meet-and-greet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19.

Entry is free.

LaFrikitona Food Truck

LaFrikitona Food Truck will be serving Puerto Rican eats such as empanadas, arroz con pollo and tostones at the Ice House on Jan. 19.

Live music, Puerto Rican eats

In addition to live entertainment and arts and craft activities for kids, La Frikitona food truck will sell drinks and Puerto Rican eats such as arroz con grandules, stuffed plantains and pastelillos.

There will also be opportunities to meet members of the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley, or LLALV, which was founded to strengthen the Latino community through leadership development, education, health and cultural events.

Each year, LLALV’s Nestor Futuro scholarship program awards scholarships to post-secondary students of Latinx descent.
