A North Texas home has hit the market with a listing price of nearly $7 million and ties to a country music legend.
The home at 2005 Bayshore Dr. in Flower Mound boasts six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-baths across 10,189 square feet. The property sits on a 2-acre lot and spans two stories.
Built in 1998, the property underwent a $5.5 million renovation under its current owners, one of which happens to be the grandson of country music legend Loretta Lynn. Ethan Lyell purchased the home in 2020 and has transformed the property to include out-of-the-ordinary amenities including a “puppy condo,” where the owners’ five dogs have their own units, and a Tesla solar roof, among other smart home improvements.
The renovation also included expanding a wing dedicated to the primary suite, vaulted ceilings and turning a former tennis court into an irrigated garden, Mansion Global reported.
The home is in a gated community off Grapevine Lake and offers spacious living areas, a gourmet kitchen, a great room, a gym, game rooms and a library. The outdoors showcase entertainment spaces including a pool and views of Grapevine Lake.
Co-listing agent Megan Williamson with The Agency in Dallas described the property like “stepping into a private nature reserve” with its luscious greenery and butterfly gardens.
“It feels like your own little escape from the world,” she told Dallas Business Journal.
The other agent on the listing is Damon Williamson, managing partner at The Agency in Dallas.
The property first hit the market in April for $7.75 million, Mansion Global reported. Megan Williamson told DBJ this is a new listing for the real estate duo, as it was previously listed by Ebby Halliday.
Mansion Global reported the listing was removed earlier this summer before hitting the market again in October for $6.95 million.
“We’ve received a great response and many interested buyers,” Williamson said. “We hope to have it off the market very soon.”
The listing agents told Mansion Global mementos to Lynn can be found throughout the home, including some of the musician’s guitars and original albums.
