Native Heritage Art Market set for Nov. 9 at Legends Casino

TOPPENISH, Wash.-Native American Artists from across the Northwest will participate in an art market at Legends Casino on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“November is Native American Heritage Month, and one of our goals is to highlight the incredible talent of our local and regional artists who are nationally recognized by inviting them to share their talents at our first Art Market,” said Letisha Peterson, General Manager.

The Native Heritage Art Market will feature 20 artists, storytellers and entertainers, as well as flute playing and stories Yakama legends and culture, according to Legends.

“These artists create unique pieces rooted in our culture,” said Peterson.

Admission to the Native Heritage Art Market is free and a full list of featured artists is available online through the Legends Casino website.
