La Bichota is being immortalized in a new way. On November 25, the emblematic fashion doll and lifestyle brand Bratz announced their new collaboration with Karol G, featuring the Colombian pop star wearing her Latin Grammy red carpet look amongst two other looks.
This marks the brand’s first collaboration with a musical artist.
“I can’t believe I get to celebrate another huge milestone in my career with my first-ever doll—and I’m so proud it’s with Bratz, a brand I’ve always been a superfan of and grew up with!” Karol said in an official statement. “It’s surreal to think that just over a year ago, I was celebrating my first Latin Grammy win, and now I get to share a doll inspired by that very moment in my career.”
She continued: “Bratz are ‘Bichotas’ in their own way—they’re independent, bold, and powerful trendsetters who have been part of our lives since the early 2000s. This collaboration is a true labor of love and a celebration for fans across Latin America and beyond.”
The new doll features Karol in her 2023 Latin Grammys red carpet look, wearing a stunning rose gold dress. The doll also comes with a second outfit inspired by the ‘Bichota’ era’s official merchandise, complete with a mini award and LP. The packaging has the word ‘Bichota’ on it, featuring Karol’s signature pink.
The Bratz x KAROL G Collector Doll will be available in the U.S. and to pre-order via Bratz.com globally for $50 USD, starting on December 3. It will also be available in selected stores in Mexico, Colombia, Perú, Chile, and Spain, per the official press release.
