Three members of the iconic second-generation K-pop group BIGBANG have reunited for a new music release, marking their first collaboration in over two years.

G-Dragon unveiled his latest single, “Home Sweet Home,” featuring bandmates Taeyang and Daesung, on Friday at 2 p.m., according to his agency, Galaxy Corp.

The song is their first joint effort since BIGBANG’s “Still Life,” which was released in April 2022.

The reunion comes after the trio performed together in September during Taeyang’s solo concert in Seoul, where they delighted fans with a rendition of the group’s 2016 hit “We Like 2 Party.”

“Home Sweet Home” follows G-Dragon’s recent release “Power,” his first new music as a solo artist in seven years.

The latest track carries a heartfelt message, reflecting the artist’s return to his fans, whom he describes as his “home.”

The agency said the nostalgic hip-hop track, paired with G-Dragon’s freestyle rap, evokes the feeling of carefree joy, as if fans were leaping and dancing alongside the artist on stage.

G-Dragon is set to perform during the Japanese leg of the 2024 MAMA Awards, one of K-pop’s most prestigious events, which kicked off in Los Angeles earlier Friday. (Yonhap)
