KAWS gives Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Concept timepiece an art-forward update.

Audemars Piguet and KAWS have teamed up on the limited-edition Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon “Companion,” a run of just 250 watches that meld haute horology with contemporary pop art. KAWS’ trademark Companion character is integrated into the timepiece dial and luminescent details, while the watch retains the Royal Oak’s signature design elements. 

A 2,000 year-old Roman road has been unearthed under London’s Old Kent Road.

Archaeologists uncovered a well-preserved section of Watling Street, a major Roman-era road, beneath London’s Old Kent Road during a low-carbon heat network project.
