Ed Sheeran India concert tickets sell out in minutes

Ed Sheeran’s highly anticipated six-city India tour in 2025 saw tickets vanish almost instantly after bookings opened at 4 PM. Within minutes, most cities reported sold-out tickets, with general admission options disappearing quickly across the board.

The tickets were categorized into four tiers: Stands, General Admission, General Admission Plus, and the premium HSBC Star Struck Lounge, with prices varying by city. The most expensive tickets, priced at ₹24,000, were sold out in nearly all locations in record time. In Pune, ticket prices ranged from ₹3,500 to ₹24,000, while Hyderabad offered options from ₹3,500 (General Admission P1) to ₹24,000 (HSBC Starstruck Lounge). Notably, Bengaluru and Gurugram featured the priciest Starstruck Lounge tickets at ₹28,000, whereas Shillong capped its highest ticket price at ₹14,000.

The much-awaited tour kicks off in Pune on January 30, 2025, and continues to Hyderabad on February 2, Chennai on February 5, Bengaluru on February 8, Shillong on February 12, and wraps up in Gurugram on February 15 at the Leisure Valley Ground.

Announcing his return to India a few weeks ago, Ed Sheeran shared his excitement on Instagram, writing, “Coming back to India for my biggest ever tour of your beautiful country. Also coming to play Bhutan for the first time, coming back to Qatar for the first time in a decade, and playing that beautiful amphitheatre in Bahrain again. What a way to start 2025, can’t wait to see you all there.”

Ed Sheeran previously captivated Indian audiences during a sold-out show at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse in March 2024. His trip included a visit to a local orphanage and memorable moments with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and choreographer-director Farah Khan. He even appeared on Netflix India’s The Great Indian Kapil Show and added a touch of fun to his visit.
