Artist Sarah Borgeson creates some of her unique jewelry this week at Salt, her store in the courtyard of the Tannery Arts Center in Santa Cruz. Borgeson, and other artists are gearing up for Saturday’s Winter Art Market at the Tannery, which is presented by the Arts Council Santa Cruz County. The event will feature over 20 artists offering handmade holiday gifts. The market will also include live music, tasty food, and festive family-friendly activities. Borgeson says she has drawn inspiration from the diverse worlds of art, architecture and nature for her distinctive jewelry line, and that as a formally educated sculptor, she is “dedicated to the creation of contemporary, sophisticated designs that are bold in their originality.”
