Artist makes stunning portrait of woman using spices. Video has 20 million views

Creativity knows no bounds, and an artist just proved that with his new artwork – a stunning portrait of a woman made entirely using everyday spices like turmeric and red chilli powder, along with matchsticks.

In a video on Instagram, PS Rathour documented the process that has garnered over 20 million views with people applauding him for the portrait.

Rathour was inspired to make this particular portrait after a fan messaged him saying: “I like drawing but I don’t have good colours like you have.”

Thereafter, Rathour decided to make the portrait using spices and matchsticks, and said in the caption: “Your will should be greater than all the obstacles.”

As seen in the video, Rathour used turmeric and red chilli powder to create vibrant hues for the base of the portrait, while matchsticks were employed to add depth and darker tones.

“Yeh kaafi spicy painting ban gayi. I thought about painting something as soon as I saw that comment. Used haldi and mirch powder to colour the base and matchsticks to add darker values,” Rathour added.

No prizes for guessing that social media users were super impressed with Rathour’s artwork.

This is absolutely wonderful!
