NFL players tend to be the most famous people in their respective households, but their popularity is often a buoy for their partners and relatives.
The wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of athletes have long been recognizable figures in their own right, and since the advent of the “social media influencer,” many partners of NFL players have actually become even more popular than their pro sports counterparts.
A recent study compiled the data of the 10 biggest social media WAGs of football players, and while you might expect who tops the charts, the rest of the list is filled with surprises.

New NFL Study Reveals Which WAGs Dominate Social Media
In the study, conducted and provided by Doc’s Sports, the top 10 NFL WAGs by social media earning potential were ranked based on data spanning years on both Instagram and TikTok.
The study reveals how much per post on each platform each social media icon could be expected to make, with Taylor Swift leading the pack by a wide margin.
Some of the key takeaways from the study:
- Taylor Swift (partner to Travis Kelce) tops the list, earning a staggering $652,444 per post, thanks to her 283M+ followers on Instagram and 32.8M on TikTok.
- Olivia Culpo (wife of Christian McCaffrey) follows in second place, with an impressive earning potential of nearly $20,000 per post.
- Brittany Mahomes (wife of Patrick Mahomes) rounds out the top three, earning $6,448 per post and engaging nearly 2.1 million followers across both platforms.
- With a combined audience of over 290 million on Instagram, the top three WAGs have the potential to earn more than $678,000 per post collectively.
The remainder of the top 10 was comprised of Kristin Juszczyk (wife of Kyle Juszczyk), Tatyannah Bass (partner to Brayden Willis), Mindy Armstead (wife of Arik Armstead), Claire Kittle (wife of George Kittle), Sydney Warner (wife of Fred Warner), Mahogany Jones (partner of Deebo Samuel), and Chariah Gordon (wife of Mecole Hardman Jr.).
Keen-eyed fans will recognize that the entire list is made up of partners of current players for either the Kansas City Chiefs (3) or the San Francisco 49ers (7). Each social media star earns more than $600 per post on at least one social media platform, though none come close to Swift’s record-setting figure of nearly $600,000 for her Instagram posts alone.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that each of the top 10 WAGs are in a relationship with a player of the Chiefs or 49ers, considering they’ve been two of the better franchises in the league over the last decade and just squared off in Super Bowl 58 last year. The Chiefs are set to take that stage again this year as they attempt to secure a three-peat when they face off with the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 on Feb. 9.
