For the new Artist Collection, Nike has teamed up with designer Anna Deller-Yee for fall 2024. This collection includes a Nike Alate bra, Nike One leggings, a matching Phoenix Fleece set and other fitness and lifestyle items in a complete capsule. Inspired by the intersection of sport, style and art, Deller-Yee has reinvented classic Nike models with a touch of energy and color.
«I want the women who wear the pieces of our Nike Women Artist Collection to feel ready: ready to conquer day and night, ready to move with confidence in the spaces they occupy in society, ready to feel safe of their own bodies,» says Deller-Yee, a creativeJapanese, Chinese-German who works as a designer in Milan for Marni, Mugler and now also for the brand of the Swoosh.
Deller-Yee has put at the heart of this collection her floral designs in every piece of the collection, using a watercolor effect to create an audacious yet delicate mix of colors and textures that promotes an active dialogue between body, femininity, movement and strength. This pattern is repeated harmoniously throughout the capsules.
«For me, this collection conveys the message that through softness and fluidity, we can stay strong and secure in ourselves,» continues Deller-Yee. I wanted to express this idea through classic but innovative works of art, with the fluid dynamics of flowers climbing up and down the body, literally showing the growth and energy of women wearing these garments.
