BATAVIA, IL — Batavia MainStreet is seeking applicants for this winter’s Winterfest Art Market.
From Nov. 8-10, artists, artisans and makers will gather throughout Water Street Studios and The Dock, 150 First St., to sell fine art and handmade goods. Drinks, food and live music are also on the docket.
Applications for the holiday art market held in collaboration with Water Street Studios will go live on May 18. They’ll be open until July 15, and vendors will be selected by Aug. 1.
“Winterfest is a great event that is curated with unique and local vendors that specialize in handmade items,” Jennifer from Two Barks & A Howl, a 2023 participant, said in a testimonial, per a Batavia MainStreet news release. “Traffic was steady with lots of people coming to check out the multiple sections of the gallery and find something that suited their needs and tastes.
She continued: “Everyone I talked to agreed that there was a great selection of vendors, and the space was well designed with ample room to get around and view everyone.”
