OTW by Vans recently announced that it will be collaborating with Sterling Ruby’s S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., marking a significant debut in Vans’ dedication to co-creating with cultural innovators. S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. was born from over a decade of textile experimentation by American artist Sterling Ruby. The partnership with OTW by Vans sees the collaborators presenting a capsule inspired by Ruby’s artworks.
The OTW by Vans x S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. collaboration presents a new sneaker style, ‘Clash the Wall,’ which merges four Vans icons in monochromatic neon green and orange hues. The design pays homage to Sterling Ruby’s landmark works. The launch of this capsule is accompanied by skateable installation in Downtown Los Angeles, mirroring the ‘Clash the Wall’ style.
