ATHENS — The talented art students at Athens Area High School have been hard at work creating art to support their community. As part of a Social Advocacy Unit in art class, students made art depicting animals at the Animal Care Sanctuary in Milan, as well as some pet portraiture.
Prior to completing their art, students took a field trip to the sanctuary, meeting the wonderful staff and animals, taking photo references for their projects. The project will culminate with an art show and mural project.
