Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash – event updates, tickets selling fast!

Mundi Undi Run

Next year the Mundi Mundi Bash will be your best outback music festival option, as the Birdsville Bash will be taking a break for a 2025. Running over three days from the 21st to the 23rd of August, the festival on the outskirts of Broken Hill has several options for 1, 2 or 3 days, as well as a special early-entry pass. Check out this link to see the range of options, including a pay-over-time option.

The Bash is known for it’s contributions to local charities such as the Royal Flying Doctors, but recently the ABC highlighted the event in a new series called Headliners. Musician and fervent campaigner for inclusion, access and equality, Elly-May Barnes leads the quest to create two bands made up entirely of musicians living with disability. This challenged organiser Greg Donovan to think outside the square to allow equal access to musicians with a disability.

‘Together with Strangers’ & ‘Sync or Swim’ – two bands that were 100% unknown to every single human at Mundiville before the 14 August 2024, but by the end of their set, the whole crowd was on their feet cheering for one more song.

This year, headlining the event will be ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins. She also took home the “Best Australian Live Act” award with her Second Act 2024 Tour, her biggest tour in 20 years. Her latest album, The Second Act, debuted at #1 in September and was described by Missy as her most raw and heartfelt work yet. Reflecting on her career, she shared that it’s a dream come true to still connect with audiences after 20 years.

Festival favourite Chocolate Starfish is back for the MMB25 with a special extended set to kick off the party on the Plains on Wednesday night – before the festival officially starts on Thursday! To catch this epic performance, you’ll need a 1, 2 or 3-Day Early Entry Vehicle Pass, as Chocolate Starfish will only perform on this night.

Don’t forget the Mundi Undie Run, the Nutbush world record and three days of incredible Australian music in the glorious Mundi Mundi Plains.

Check out all the details on who’s playing, how to get there and how to buy the limited tickets still available at the mundimundi bash website.
