Broadway Family Pharmacy opened its new location at 601 Amsterdam Avenue (corner of 89th Street) on November 4, relocating from its previous location at 510 Amsterdam Avenue (between 84th and 85th streets). A representative from the real estate brokerage which leased them the space said they needed a larger storefront. Broadway Family Pharmacy–also known as Physicians Rx Pharmacy–”serve[s] as a 340B contracted pharmacy providing specialty pharmacy care to covered entities across the nation,” its website states. Art of Problem Solving has leased a 5,000 square foot space at 2505 Broadway (between 93rd and 94th streets), according to @TradedNY. According to the real estate outlet, this is the tutoring company’s first physical location, where they will help students with in-person math programs. It’s unclear what rent the business agreed to pay, but the asking rent for the ten-year lease was $155 per square foot, which comes out to $775,000 per year.
Signage is up for The Flowery at 2465 Broadway (between 91st and 92nd streets), which is set to be the Upper West Side’s next legal cannabis shop to open. The weed shop’s Instagram says they’ve got locations in Staten Island and Queens, with additional shops set to open in Soho and Brooklyn. They’ve got quite a robust website with an extensive list of brands and categories, plus a dedicated customer service line.
