Saturday, June 8 will be a special day for the close-knit community of Questa. The village, founded in 1842, is steeped in culture and history. Even its name has a story: Questa is a misspelling of the Spanish word “cuesta,” which refers to the inclines to its south and the ridge where the old church plaza now stands.
The team of enthusiasts and experts who support the Questa History Trail will join the Questa Art Market for ‘Celebrate Questa,’ an event commemorating the area’s history and culture that will include art, live music and traditional foods.
