Nigerian artist David Adeleke popularly known by his stage name, Davido has revealed American producer, actor and RnB artist Chris Brown is one of his most favourite artists of all time to work with.
Davido made this revelation during an appearance he made on the Business Untitled YouTube channel.
During the conversation, the ‘Unavailable’ crooner was asked what his favourite music collaboration that he has ever done was, a question he refrained from giving a straight answer to as he didn’t want any artist he had worked with to feel awful.
He however noted he would be open to naming a few artists that he has enjoyed working with over the years and their chemistry is impeccable.
“I do not want to say favorites per say because I do not want people getting pissed but there are a couple of artists that I really like working with,” the musician said.
He went on to list his top artists with American singer, songwriter, and dancer Chris Brown topping the list.
“I love working with Chris Brown number one. You know what I am saying, this guy is amazing, amazing. Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel, we work quite amazing together and Zlatan, he is a Nigerian rapper,” Davido candidly said as he gave each of the artists he had mentioned their flowers.
Ever since his first collaboration with Breezy back in 2019 on his chart-topping hit song ‘Blow My Mind’, the two dynamic artists have continued to enthrall fans by joining forces on five additional tracks.
With their latest masterpiece, ‘Hmm’, being a mesmerizing addition to the deluxe version of Chris Brown’s acclaimed ’11:11′ album, cementing their undeniable chemistry and musical prowess.
Even when not singing together, the duo still have chemistry and respect for each others craft. Although he has no verses in the song, Davido is credited as a songwriter on CB’s global hit song ‘Under The Influence’.
As for him and Kizz Daniel, the two first worked together back in 2014 when Davido hoped on Daniel’s single dubbed ‘Woju’ Their latest collaboration ‘Twe Twe’ remix was named as one of the biggest songs in Nigeria during the first quarter of the year.
