Donald Trump was found guilty of all 34 charges of document falsification related to the Stormy Daniels case. The verdict was reached on Thursday, May 30, by the twelve-member Manhattan jury, who issued a unanimous and incriminating decision.
Following this news, both Donald Trump and Elon Musk announced they would host a live session together on the social network X.
The platform had previously suspended Donald Trump‘s account on January 8, 2021, after accusing the 45th president of incitement to violence after the attack on the Capitol on January 6 of that year.
The news was confirmed by Elon Musk, who quoted an article from the New York Post on X, saying, “This is going to be interesting.”
The date of the live session and whether there will be moderators participating in the conversation have yet to be announced. During the session, Trump will also answer questions submitted live by users.
Trump reinstated on X in 2022
Trump‘s verified account was reinstated in 2022 and quickly grew from just over 100,000 followers to 25 million, still far from the 88 million followers he had before being suspended.
“The people have spoken,” said Elon Musk, the owner of the social network, describing the decision to restore the former U.S. president’s account.
The platform is also planning to broadcast another similar live event with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent candidate in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections in November.
