Drake says he didn’t get answer from Justin Bieber about future music collab

Justin Bieber has teased his music comeback.

The As Long As You Love Me singer posted a carousel of pictures on Instagram on Sunday, April 6. Some of the pictures were blurred, with the last one being in black and white showing Justin’s face, covering his mouth with his hoodie and wearing a signature beanie.

The caption is what grabbed not only the eyes of Beliebers but also other artists. Justin wrote, “Dm me if u wanna make music together.” Justin has not released new music since March 19, 2021, when he released his last album, Justice. He also ended up canceling his world tour in 2022 after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Fellow Canadian rapper Drake left a comment under the post, writing, “I DM’d but no reply.”

Fans replied under Justin’s comment, hoping for the two to release new music together. One person wrote: “@champagnepapi @justinbieber the duo we all need!!! Let’s make this happen asap!”

Another person wrote, “@champagnepapi we need another one [two flame emojis].” A third replied, “@champagnepapi we need another classic like Right Here.” A fourth wrote: “@champagnepapi @zootedfae definitely need a right here pt2.”

Justin and Drake have collaborated in the past. Drake was featured in Justin’s third studio album, Believe, which was released in June 2012 on the song Right Here. The album also features hits like Boyfriend, Beauty and a Beat featuring Nicki Minaj, As Long As You Love Me featuring Big Sean, and more.

Drake was once featured in Justin’s music video for the hit song Baby. Justin was then featured on DJ Khaled and Drake’s collaboration for the music video for Popstar. In the music video, Justin walks around a mansion lip-syncing the words to the song.

Other artists like Big Sean, Kehlani, and Jaden Smith left a comment letting the pop star know that they messaged him. Justin has collaborated with them, as well as other artists like his friend The Kid LAROI, Khalid, and more.
