ELCH Auxiliary, local artist collaborate to support Thompson Park Pool

EAST LIVERPOOL — The East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary, in collaboration with local artist Craig Wetzel, have announced the winner of the special raffle to support the funding of Thompson Park Pool. The drawing was held Monday, and the winner is Spencer Neville. The raffle prize was an original illustration of the pool, created by Wetzel, which was featured on the passes for East Liverpool students in grades six through eigth.

Craig Kidd of Keystone generously donated the raffle tickets. All 150 raffle tickets were sold, and an additional donation will be given to the Thompson Park Pool fund. With the raffle proceeds and their original donation, the members of the East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary has donated $35,750 toward the Thompson Park Pool fund.

Donations for the pool fund are still being accepted. All checks should be made payable to the City of East Liverpool with “pool fund” indicated in the memo.

The East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary is dedicated to supporting community health and wellness initiatives through fundraising and volunteer efforts. The collaboration with Wetzel is part of the ongoing commitment to enhance community facilities and provide meaningful experiences for the residents.
