A Greene County business is in the spotlight this week with a special recognition from a federal lawmaker from Iowa.
US Senator Joni Ernst tabbed Elliott Art Studio in Jefferson for her Small Business of the Week distinction. The Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, Ernst says that Elliott Art Studio Owners Chad and Alyssa have created an epicenter that fosters the next generation of artists. She explains from painting murals across the state, to now having a location in downtown Jefferson, the Elliotts are sharing their artistic talents through art, apparel and home decor.
Ernst is dedicated to naming one small business in each of Iowa’s 99-counties with the honor of the Small Business of the Week award.
