Harlem teacher apologizes after video of inappropriate language

HARLEM, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A Harlem High School teacher issued a letter of apology after being placed on administrative leave after a recording posted on social media showed her using inappropriate language, officials say.

On Thursday, the school district released the letter from Jennifer Skrobisz, that was sent to parents and students.

On Tuesday, Harlem Principal Casey Dees told parents the incident involved a social media post, containing a recording of a staff member using inappropriate language during class.

Though not an emergency, the teacher has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation, school officials say.
