Hit The Horn: TCU fans react on social media after win over LIU

After looking at all major social media platforms, Twitter (X), Facebook, and Instagram, I found that Frog fans have mixed reviews after Saturday night’s 45-0 blowout of LIU. Here is what fans had to say about the game…

Offensive Line

Despite mixed reactions to the game, most fans agreed that the offensive line play needs some work, especially the run blocking.

The offense tried establishing the run, but it never fully came together. The main concern for fans is that these struggles were against an FCS team in LIU. For some, they believe that the offensive line will make or break this season.

Expectations

Fan’s expectations for the team on social media are all over the place. Some are very excited about the team, and even think they can compete to win the Big 12, while others think the Frogs will struggle now that we are approaching conference play.

I believe that some of this confidence stems from the notion that the Big 12 seems more wide open than ever this season.

This idea seems true, when you look at the struggles the conference favorites had during week 2. Both Kansas and Oklahoma State struggled against unranked teams, Kansas was upset by Illinois, and Cam Rising was hurt against Baylor. Many Frog fans, including myself, believe TCU has the chance to truly compete in the Big 12.

On the other end of the spectrum, some fans are pessimistic on the performance of the Frogs, and think they will struggle against tougher teams, during conference play.

TCU has yet to be truly tested this season, and many fans are worried about the UCF game this upcoming Saturday. Some believe that the game will be a dog fight and will come down to the wire.

Overall, expectations for this team are a mixed bag, but next week’s UCF game could give Frog Fans an insight for how the rest of the season will go.

MP4

Lastly, it wouldn’t be a Horned Frog win without an mp4 from the Football social media team. I’m not sure if the mp4’s ever make sense, but I believe that is why fans from several different schools love them.
