Kabardino-Balkarian resident sentenced to suspended imprisonment for post on social media about SMO

The law enforcement bodies considered that a resident of Nalchik was distributing on a social networking service the calls for extremist activities in connection with the special military operation (SMO).

The Nalchik City Court found 52-year-old M. Dudov guilty and sentenced him to two years of suspended imprisonment with a 2-year deferment of punishment and deprivation of the right to be engaged in the activities related to the administration of websites using the Internet for a period of one year.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that on December 6, 2024, a 28-year-old resident of Baksan was suspected of justifying terrorism and calling for extremism.
