The claims suggest that Harris, who co-authored the book with Joan O’C. Hamilton lifted multiple sections from uncited sources, including Wikipedia, press releases, and news reports.
This controversy surrounding VP Harris has triggered strong reactions on X (formerly Twitter), with users calling out The New York Times for admitting that Harris’ book contained “lapses,” while allegedly shifting the blame onto conservatives for pointing them out.
Libs of TikTok posted on X, “The New York Times basically admits Kamala plagiarized and there were ‘lapses’ in her book but then blames Conservatives for noticing and pointing it out. Unbelievable.” This tweet sparked so many reactions across the platform.
One user wrote, “The NYT is a useless newspaper, a mere shadow of what they once were.”
