Kim So-hyun, head of the Tongyeong International Music Foundation’s art business division, will serve as a director of the International Music Competition World Federation (WFIMC). The foundation announced on the 21st that Kim was elected as the new director at the federation’s regular general meeting held in Parma, Italy, from the 7th to the 9th. The term ends in June 2027. After majoring in piano and completing a master’s degree in art administration at Boston University, Kim has worked at the Tongyeong International Music Festival and Yun Isang International Music Competition since 2006.
