Labor Department Offering Workforce Knowledge Sessions for Businesses and Organizations

{KXLG – Watertown, SD} The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR) is hosting a three-session Workforce Knowledge Series titled “Employers’ Roadmap to SDWORKS” to support businesses and organizations. These sessions will be accessible via Microsoft Teams.

SDWORKS is DLR’s online platform where employers can post job listings, connect with job seekers, and recruit candidates. The series aims to educate employers on maximizing the platform’s tools and practices to aid their hiring efforts.

The 30-minute sessions, all starting at 11:30 a.m. CST (10:30 a.m. MST), are scheduled as follows:

Advanced registration is required for each event. Participants can register by clicking the “Register Now” button on the Event Calendar Entry, which will prompt them to enter a mySD single sign-on credential. Upon registration, an invitation with a link to the Microsoft Teams session and a separate calendar invite will be emailed.

The Workforce Knowledge Series aims to share DLR’s expertise on various employment topics to assist with recruitment and hiring challenges. Employers are encouraged to use these free sessions to enhance their use of SDWORKS and improve their hiring processes.
